Vice Commodore: No report
Rear Commodore: No report

OLD BUSINESS:
The commodore gave a progress report on repair of the dock. Basically, a new frame was constructed for one of the minor docks. Several cross boards were replaced and grab rails are being installed on both minor docks. All docks and walkway will be ready to put in place on workday. It appears that the construction will be under budget.
The remainder of old business was devoted to discussion of workday preparation. Bob will take care of coffee and rolls. The BVYC sign will be installed at another time.
NEW BUSINESS:
The commodore discussed the
insurance policy that must be renewed. The exact cost is not known so
A spring social event was discussed and the board decided to wait to observe the turn out for the workday. Based on that attendance, someone, possibly Ron, can attempt to arrange some type of social event in late April or May.
Bob relayed a comment from Ned Gatewood regarding the need to make the public aware of yacht club activities in order to increase membership. Entering parades, boat shows etc as well as an open invitation to the public to participate in a sailing event at the club are some of the ways to obtain public awareness.
Meeting adjourned at 7:58.
Respectfully submitted
