Tom Shields gave the new tool a thorough test run throughout the morning. As always, there was some blue paint to be applied. Twenty-five members of the Club reported for duty on Saturday, April 3, for the Spring Work Day. Highlighting the activities for the day was the completion of an overhaul of the mast-lifting hoist. Several members of the Club had begun the project a week prior, but it was completed during the work day. New stainless steel wires, thimbles, and clamps now provide more trustworthy standing rigging for the hoist. |
