advice of our esteemed rear commodore in the last news letter)  The envisioned night of sound sleep didn't happen.  But, the sun did rise and the hope of a hearty, cooked-to-order breakfast was still there.


Just as predicted, by the time most sailors arrived at the club shelter, Henry was already there preparing breakfast.  Of course, being an intelligent man, Henry soon solicited the help of Jennifer Martin, Bill Schapaugh

and Ned Gatewood and in short order breakfast was served.


Thanks, Henry, for organizing a very enjoyable event.  Thanks also to the other sailors who helped. 


Is it safe to assume that the Supreme Operating Barnacle preparing breakfast on Memorial Day weekend is a new Blue Valley Yacht Club tradition?
