Well, we finally have a new dingy dock. Thanks to Wayne Martin, his tractor and Bob Mullen we were finally able to put the dock in the water.
But that is the end of the story; it all started with a plan to have a dock that was more friendly and usable for the smaller boats then our regular dock. With that idea in mind, the Board went into planning mode and we planned and planned a little more. Finally, after much debate, we had a plan.
Then it was up to Bob Mullen and me to imple-ment the |

construction phase. After getting the two-walkway sections completed, we were so excited that we hauled them out to the lake just to see how they would float. Success, the walkway sections worked great but then we made a mistake. We left one of the sections floating in the water tied to the old dock and Tuttle Creek did its thing.
The water rising and falling broke the mooring line. So, our new dock section was on the loose. We searched but eventually gave up on finding our new dock section and were resigned to rebuilding. Then, as luck would have |
