it I received a phone call from Justin McRae, a friend whom I had earlier lamented our dock loss to. He was cruising his pontoon boat up at the north end of the lake and saw a small section of dock in the trees and could I please describe our dock to him. Needless to say, it was our dock, and I for one was glad that we would not have to rebuild before the dock had even officially been launched. |
|
We then had an impromptu workday to build the end section of the dock. Thanks to the work of many of the members we had the three sections complete. All that was left was the joining of the dock and the launching, which was finally accomplished with much fanfare at the fall workday. So, I would like to thank everyone who helped with the new dock. Especially Bob Mullen and Wayne Martin for helping me with the construction and launching of the dock. |
